Why Moses?
When I was a kid, my parents used to drag me from Tacoma to Spokane every summer to visit my grandmother. I loathed those trips except when we would drive thru Moses Lake. For years, I would imagine what it would be like to live in one of those houses. Such lucky people to live in that neighborhood. The homes I was drooling over were on Lakeside Drive. Of course I didn’t know that then, but I do now.
Moses Lake is about the people. As a transplant from the coast, I can say the people here enjoy being here. They are friendly. They are helpful. They enjoy life at a “lake pace”.
Moses Lake is about activities. Springtime the softball fields are full. Summer there is so much to do on the water. Winter if you are brave (I am not) you can go ice fishing with the best. Beautiful golf courses. A fantastic water park. Quaint shopping in the old downtown. There is something to do every day, all year long.
Moses Lake is about its proximity. Just 2 hours from Seattle and the Eastside. An hour to Wenatchee. Ninety minutes to Spokane. Moses can be your fast get away. Or if you are lucky enough to call it home every day, services available in larger communities are not far.
